Site Manager – Fire Protection - Salary Negotiable 

East Midlands

Due to continual expansion, we have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Site Manager to join theFire Protection Division. The role will involve managing and organising projects out of the East Midland region and on sites based in the Midlands area . This role will involve managing the day to day running of sites, monitoring project plans, site specific site schedules, organising and participating in meetings, dealing with direct labour and subcontractors onsite. Ensuring that project deadlines are met in a timely manner.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Managing the day to day running of projects including sub-contractors on site.
  • Monitor works to ensure compliance is adhered to.
  • Managing labour and materials on site to ensure project deadlines are met.
  • Carrying out site inductions and toolbox talks.
  • Ensuring compliance of health and safety and quality control.
  • Ability to identify project variations and communicate this back to the contracts manager.
  • Working closely with the Contracts Manager to maintain and monitor the project. Including weekly progress reports and works trackers on site.
  • Participating in site meetings with clients and Managers.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings / designs.
  • Complete project trackers and report back to the contracts manager.
  • Review client instructions and schedules with a  full understanding of what the project entails/ includes.
  • Carryout inspections of completed works and evidence, sign off using app based systems like Bolster.

Job Requirements:

Essential

  • Previous construction experience
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines.

Desirable

  • Knowledge of passive Fire doors/Fire stopping
  • FIRAS - supervisor modules
  • DBS - enhanced.
  • SSSTS
  • First Aid
  • Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook
  •
